Orphans & Widows Aid was founded in Nashville, Tennessee, in 2025 by Venant and Joan Sindayigaya and their family. Inspired by the biblical invitation to serve the vulnerable in James 1:27, the family envisioned community-focused support for displaced widows and orphaned children.
