Venant and Joan Sindayigaya founded OWAID in 2025. Their Christian faith and commitment to vulnerable families guide the organization’s work from Nashville, Tennessee.

Local leaders, volunteers and field coordinators understand the realities of a community in ways a distant donor cannot. Their knowledge helps identify needs, evaluate practical choices and maintain appropriate relationships with families.
Churches, businesses, community groups and humanitarian organizations are invited to discuss partnerships. We do not list an organization as a partner without an agreed relationship and permission.
